Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.In the readme file it says that URLify is not meant as a replacement for pathauto, it's just supposed to save some typing. Do you mean URLAlias? Pathauto generates paths automatically when they are posted, the former requires that someone type in their chosen path.
I would suggest making this information available in the module description and comparing the three different modules briefly.

I can see where the confusion would arise. I'll look at revising the text later.
URLify does one thing and that's creating a path alias from the title of the node (while typing), you can change it if you don't like the generated one. Ideally it's for people who don't want to install pathauto, for whatever reason, but still don't want to have to come up with creative aliases.
Are you talking about the path module? I am not aware of an URLAlias module. URLify depends on the path module, it's totally useless (and pointless) without it.
