Okay so I have a view and I want it displayed in a block in the sidebar. I exposed in block form, and I enabled it in the admin/build/block section. Now all it shows is an "apply" button (which if you click shows the information I want available in the block). I have searched everywhere for the answer to my problem, even the forums here and I can't seem to find the answer.

I can't figure out for the life of me why this is. Am I missing some crucial bit of information about how views works? Is it possible to do what I am trying to do here?

I'm having a parallel issue with an apply button that has appeared out of nowhere and is now showing because an imageflow slideshow has this views-exposed-widget. I haven't figured out where it is coming from yet, either. Using latest 6.15 & all uptodate modules.

Apparently my issue was related to an exposed form block that I was not aware of...of course inactivating that block removed the issue.
