On http://www.karnataka.com/industry/software/news.html we add links to news worthy items. But this is being done manually and is painful.

Is there anyway I could provide the link (e.g. http://www.livemint.com/2009/11/27225720/S-Gopalakrishnan--The-MD-who.html ) and could a module extract the first (or 2) paras and insert it from my page? I could always edit it further to meet my needs but if the bulk of the work can be automated it would save a lot of effort/time

You could go in the opposite direction: search "blog this" in google to see what I mean.
