I have recently installed the dev version of the module (where the patch was committed to fix the issue with multi-step not working with the content profile module). You can now access all the pages of the multistepped content profile, but all the tabs disappear from the page when you go past the first page of the multi-step, and remain disappeared if you return to the first page.

This is kind of tricky, since multistep is designed to work on nodes by using form redirection coupled with field access, as soon as you go to the next step, you are going to the node edit form, rather than the profile edit form.

I'll look into it. In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas, feel free to post them!
