Almost every field I use is a number. When creating a new field, if I use Decimal, I have to Save the field, reopen the form to enter the Default value, and Save again. While if I use the computed_field, I can add the default value and the set the field settings with one page Save.

Can the Default be changed to be set at the same time as the other settings on all CCK fields?

I guessed at the component (number.module). If that is incorrect, feel free to correct it.
