I need to build a website for a small town / village and am wondering if Drupal is the way to go? I'm willing to invest time learning Drupal if the end result is what I need, but would appreciate knowing if my goals are within the realms of common Drupal.
1) Common design theme as a default
2) Individual businesses, groups, entities, can each have their own section within the overall site.
3) When individual entities login, they have editing and modification capabilities for their areas, not other areas.
4) An update section on the front page... maybe like an RSS thing that shows what sections inside the website have been most recently updated.
I want this village site to be customizeable for businesses and groups to easily be able to update content in their section, but make overall site management centralized for administrators.
Drupal-worthy?
Any hints on which modules to incorporate?
Other hints about where to start?
thank you in advance!
