I'm using Activism for a client that needs a "country" field in addition to the normal data fields stored in activism_signup. I've attached a patch that adds the field to the schema, and shows it during CSV export.

For a lot of people using the module, they are focused on people in the US.

Country selection is going into the D7 version of the module as an option you can select.

Actually, it will come out in the D6 version. We are backporting all the work we do with the activism module to D6.

Additionally, you are going to get Salesforce support with it. :P
