Hi,

- is it possible to set a custom marker icon for different node types?
- is there searching implemented? I mean the possibility to search nodes (with node type taken under consideration) near some location/point on map in some distance set(e.g. articles located at most 50km near certaing location).

This feature is the subject of the beta4 (last before 2.0) release.

- is there searching implemented?
There's no custom search page, but there are exposable filters for views that make possible to build your own search page.
