When the profile module is disabled on my site I get the following error when going to the register screen:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function profile_categories() in /var/www/dev.onedayswages.org/public_html/sites/all/modules/gigya/gigya.module on line 847

Same issue here. Is profile module required? If yes, should be mentioned in dependencies.

Same problem. Sees either profile module is a dependency or there's a 'check' that's not being done.
