Hi,

i downloaded webform module, and installed it like described in the manual. After creating a webform, i was not able to add a field to it.

After clicking on edit -> form components i tried to add a field xyz, email, mandatory,... Clicking on Save only ends with an "The component positions and mandatory values have been updated." message. No field was added (No Components, add a component below.)

the drupal installation is up2date, php5 and mysql5 are running

If you're adding a field, you need to click the "Add" button in the right-most column, not the "Save" button at the bottom of the form. This was actually specifically added (both buttons used to work) to avoid confusion over what happened when you rearranged the form, then clicked "Add".
