best solution for node moderation like digg.com

ezichko - May 27, 2006 - 21:25

hi:
i have tried votes up/down, simplevote and ended up using nmoderation to implement something like digg.com.
it means that users post stories and they are promoted to the front page according to votes.

i have it running with nmoderation but the voting button is not very nice. i would like it to be ajaxed.

also i want a list of users who voted the node and their avatars to be displayed right below the node like in digg's Who Dugg this.

See example at the bottom.

Thanks.

That would be pretty cool...

That would be very interesting, although I don't think Drupal is what you want to run this, since it is intended as a CMS, not really a node promotion. But if a module was developed to do this it would hugely improve Drupal, I think and should be included with the core.

There's a module called Latest and Greatest that was made for this purpose.

It works with the actions module.
