I started using Taxonomy for dividing things up by state/province.

Now I have added the location module (but given up on using maps).

I am wondering if it is necessary to keep the taxonomy. I would have thought I could use views arguments with province, but it just comes up blank.

Do people use both? It seems awkward to have users enter province/state twice.

Got Views working with location.

Apparently CCK Location and views do not play well together.

Created a testing type with the location form instead of CCK and the arguments seem to work.

It is a bit of quandry. The future is CCK/Fields.
