Nice way to think about donations!

I know this is probably outside your needs, but it would be great if the module could support the UK Tax system "Gift Aid".

What it basically boils down to is keeping a record against the transaction to say the donor is a uk tax payer. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities/gift_aid/declarations.htm has a list of the info we need to record, most of which Ubercart is doing already as part of the sale.

There is no set design for a Gift Aid declaration, however, by law any Gift Aid declaration you obtain - whether written or verbal - must contain certain information such as the full name and home address of the donor.

I think other websites simply use a checkbox on the form to say something along the lines I am a UK taxpayer - Please reclaim Gift Aid on my donation"

A report page needs to be able to list all donors who have made the declaration, incase the tax office requests it.

Hey thanks for your input budda,

I will definitely consider this as an option. I have tried to write the module so that it can be customized to use other types of systems to collect a donation, and this one sounds like it would be something to look into.
