I'm subscribing to forums through the Taxonomy Subscriptions page at this location:

/user/[uid]/notifications/subscriptions/categories

But after subscribing, when there is a new Forum Topic posted, or comments, I'm not getting any notifications.

Any ideas?

If your pages are at user/[uid]/notifications, then you must be using the Notifications module, not the Subscriptions module.
