This worked a few weeks ago, but now the metadata isn't updating properly. It still says:

There are currently 247 countries and 0 feature codes in the local tables. Never updated.

This is because the file that is downloaded to populate this information has changed names, from http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/featureCodes.txt to http://download.geonames.org/export/dump/featureCodes_en.txt (assuming english).

Updating that URL gives

There are currently 247 countries and 671 feature codes in the local tables. Last run 1 sec ago.

I manually patched my 6.x-1.2 version of the module.
