Hi,

I have a content type called "Aberrations", and I would like that a certain Role can edit some fields of the nodes, but not the Title.

So I am obliged to grant the permission "edit any Aberrations content", and I didn't check the box "set page title" for this Role...

But this role can still edit the Title !! Is there a way to do that then ? Or something I'm doing wrong ?

Many thanks for your help and for this module.

The Set Page Title permission grants permission to see all Page Title fields (note: this is different to the Title field).

I plan to add some granularity to this permission as you may want to be able to set page titles on one node type (or scope) but not others.

Ok thank you for these precisions.
I am looking forward to be able to set this by content type, this would be indeed a great feature !

Title: Can't hide the Title field in the edit form » Increase granularity of the "Set Page Title" permission for per-content-types.
Version: 6.x-2.3 » 7.x-2.x-dev
Category: support » feature

So - essentially - this is a feature request to:
Allow per-content-type access to the Page Title field as well as a "grant all" permission?

If so - this will be added for 2.5's To Do list....

Maybe a "per pattern" would be better?
