Must disable 'View Own' module

Issue Summary

I could not get the Petition Node module working in terms of allowing access to other users and found out after a lot of struggling that there is something not right when "View Own" is enabled.

PROBLEM:

I enabled Petition node and got it up working under my Admin.

Set the permissions for my specific "user"... then when I log in as "user" and create the petition, it comes up as "You are not authorized to access this page." I see the petition was created but cannot for the life of me change the permissions so that my specified user sees this page.

-run cron
-clear cached
-rebuild permissions

nothing....

SOLUTION:

Disable "View Own" Module
Replace View Own module with Access Node module.

Voila! Petition Node works fine!
