ummmm, Dont you know that
ummmm, Dont you know that you cant use someones trademark in your domain name?
Why not , if google say
Why not , if google say nothing about it, many website use google in domain name, in my footer i mention that my site have no relation with google and google is a trademark
Just because they didnt say
Just because they didnt say anything to you doesnt make it right. Do you know anything about trademarks and copyright laws? Your trying to profit off of Googles Brand and thats where you cross the line.
Send an email to google and ask, I guarantee their lawyers will email you a few hours later telling you to transfer the domain name to them.
I am not the only or the
I am not the only or the last to use google in domain name; many out there, and they can even use adwords, adsense etc, go to the google video blog and see yoursef, google video an official blog by google in the right hand, you can see a link to a non google site that use google domain name
http://googlevideo.blogspot.com/
the blog i am talking bout is Google Idol http://www.googleidol.com/
no problem if you don't use google domain to say that you are part of google firm or something like that
So just because other people
So just because other people are breaking the law and getting away with it, that makes it right?
As you can see the link
As you can see the link recommended by google, if its againts the law, google will not put an url link
Google let people use the name, but you can't use the google look or confuse consumers, i am using rss feed, and a site that people can review read all google blogs in one place, i am using a contact, if google won't me use the domain name i will of course remove it, no problem.

You can use trade names in certain circumstances...
I used to work for an online pharmacy company as the Marketing Director. We had hundreds of domains with the words Viagra, Phentermine, Propecia, etc. etc. in them an only had one issues over a four year period with a cease and decist from Pfizer pharmaceuticals to take down one domain. The funny thing is that the domain wasn't in question because it had Viagra in the URL, but rather because it was conflicting with a promotion by Pfizer with their "5 Free Viagra" campaign. I think the domain was something like 5freeviagra.com. you can see the conflict here... :)
But, owning hundreds of domains and many of them being keyword related or identical to brands isn't against the law as long as their is no confusion between the brand name and the site in question, i.e the site using the brand doesn't try to mimic or create identical wording, branded images, marketing, or look and feel.
To get an idea of sites using Google in the domain name, go to Google and type "allinurl:google" (without the quotes)
You can attach other variables to the search phrase like "allinurl:google + blog" or "allinurl:google + SEO" (both without the quotes)
Thousands are doing it already, and my attorneys insist that no law is being broken unless you fall into what I mentioned above about brand conflict/confusion.
Pretty nice design by the way.
