How to reproduce the bug:

Enable boost module, remove session cookies, add something to the cart.

The bug even occurs with boost disabled in boost config, just with boost module enabled and the boost cache cleared.

The second item is added properly because it got the session cookie on the first visit to the cart.

I'm using pressflow.

I tested the latest dev version: 2009-Dec-27 with same results.

This sounds more like a pressflow issue rather than boost (because pressflow does not create a session cookie for anonymous users until necessary, iirc).

Closing this issue since it is 2 years old without activity. Do not hesitate to re-open if necessary.
