How do I get rid of the whole top section of You Are Here - Title Page Example ?

Is there a checkbox in the admin section? or do I hide it with CSS?

Second question: Have you got rid of that section or made any changes? Do you recommend deleting it? My personal experience is that its redundant and also looks kinda annoying...

Does it offer any SEO advantages?

Could you modify it and make the path actually link to pages such as : You are Here: Example.com > Photos > USA and have each word link to its own path?

They are called breadcrumbs.

to remove them, you can check administer -> themes -> configuration of the theme in use to see if there are any advanced settings at the theme layer or you can delete the varible from node.tpl.php

if you want more control over what is there, investigate the custom_breadcrumbs.module

breadcrumbs are actually printed in page.tpl.php (not node.tpl.php).

<?php print $breadcrumb; ?> yes on line 99 of page.tpl.php for Marinelli theme, I removed it and it was gone! thanks guys
