Hi, I have created a view to display posts in an organic group and set them as 'node style' and the 'build mode: teaser'. The problem is that the list comes up fine however the post body is not automaticaly truncate to a teaser, meaning it displayed to full post?
Have I got this wrong? do I need to install a teaser cck module?
Thanks in advance!

How do the teasers look when you view the default http://yoursite.com/node page? Do the teasers show up correctly there?
In my experience, Views will display the same teaser as you'd see on a taxonomy/term page or the default front page.

very strange... on the node page of the post I do not get the teaser... I have also disabled the view to check?

Is it suppose to automatically produce a teaser fromt he main 'body' content? is there something I need to do to make enable it?

It should automatically
It should automatically create a teaser, but it seems your problem isn't with Views (as such), it is with your node->body field.
You should be able to see your pages! Try clearing your cache.

I think I got it working. I found out where to set the character length of the teaser and also installed FCKeditor which has a function to intentionally insert a break for the teaser.
All look pretty good now!
Thank Matt for your responses...
