Hi,
I have been using the BowoB module with my Drupal website for some months.
During all those months I have been having some performance issues in the site, and only last week I somehow associated within my head that the Bowob chat could be the source of the problem. I have then deactivated the site, and one day later reactivated it, and as I expected, during the time it was not active I had no performance issues. Those came back with the reactivation.
So this is the problem: when a larger number of users (around 40) is logged-in to the site and thus get the Bowob ruler in the bottom, the site begins having "sudden halts" – time in which suddenly the site stop responding for 2-3 minutes and nobody can do anything with it. After that it comes back fine for 15-20 minutes and then halts again. If I am with Remote desktop at the server at the time of the halt, I can see that CPU goes to 100% utilization, and so does MySQL.
I need some help to solve this problem, otherwise I will unfortunately need to stop using your solution and turn to something else.
I am also sending Bowob's support a message to try to get help figuring this out.
Thanks in advance,
Helio
