It would be GREAT! if I could enable/disable the editor by node type (by wikipage for example) ... I think the cvs version of FCK Editor does this fairly well, but I don't recall right off hand

harry slaughterI think a possibly better idea would be to allow for enabling/disabling tinymce per each input format.
Right now TinyMCE turns itself off if PHP input has been selected, but leaves itself on for everything else.
Each input format should have an option to turn on/off tinymce, just as there are options for adding paragraphs, filtering html, etc...

I'd really like this too! Even when TinyMCE is off with the enable ritch text showing it likes to disable the resize on text boxes which is very irritating!

jiangxijay commentedI'd like to reiterate the need for the original request: the ability to turn TinyMCE on or off by content types.
For instance, I have a multimedia type for which I would like to never open TinyMCE in the body, so I can simply see the HTML always, no WYSIWYG.
