Hi is it possible to use the first image (or any other image) from an article as a thumbnail to display when articles are presented as teasers (1st few lines) on the front page?

This is an important feature missing in Drupal, but available in all other CMS packages. I am surprised that we don't have a solution for this!!

Display suite module would likely handle this feature. I'd that's overkill id venture there are other methods in contrib.
