I need a theme that will allow me to change it's colors (how do I do that?). I need several images in the header, on the left and on the right. I want to control the title of the page (how do I do that? - it currently specifies the site URL). I would like to have an image I can click in the right sidebar.

duh! I set the title to the URL in the site information page...fixed.
