Actually this is a duplicate to #104888: Add additional concurrent timeline bands so, I'm marking it as one. I'm still with the idea of making it possible to combine several views into the timeline as different bands. But realistically I plan to implement this for the Drupal7 version of the module. Since then this patch could be useful to people if they need this special requirement working, but I don't plan to commit it to the module.
Of course you are more than welcome to think and work on a more general solution of this :-)
