My curve ball...

I have a views grid of fields for both parent and child nodes. If a user clicks the parent cell, no worries, links to parent node easily through the standard views setting (link to node).

However, I wish the child nodes in this views grid to link their parent nodes not the child node.

I am not sure how to accomplish this. Any help, much appreciated.
