Hi all, I wonder if you can help me.
I've set up vocabularies for drupal in which the site editor can 'tag' actors, directors and writers to previous productions.
Each production now lists, individually, the different actors, directors and writers who are tagged to it, using views. And when you click on, say, an actor it takes you to their page, rightly, and displays the different plays that actor has acted in. All works fine.
Until I discovered some actors have also directed, which complicates things slightly. So, if you click on, say, "Bob Smith" in the actor category it will show you what Bob's acted in, but not directed.
If I reverted to one vocab and merged the terms together I wouldn't easily be able to separate what they've acted in and what they've directed, either on the previous production list or on the member's individual page.
My idea was to create a view, only available on actor pages, that searches for other terms of the same name in other vocabs and displays it on that page as a block.
Unfortunately I can't work out if that's possible, and if it is I can't work out how to do it.
Could someone help me please? Either by working out the way to do it in views and blocks or by coming up with a new way of doing it?
Thanks in advance, I'm constantly asking for help at the moment!
