To whom it may concern...

At my wits end trying to find a module that can handle this capability. I am using wikitools and flexifilter right now - both seem to be doing their respective jobs very well.

For those of you who are not familiar, wikitools defines a wiki path, lets say www.example.com/wiki, flexifilter allows the creation of many filters, one of which may direct a [[link_name]] to point to www.example.com/wiki/link_name. When we follow that link, the path brings us to a page which states : "link_name" not available, you may create "link_name" or search "link_name".

All of this is fine and dandy.

The problem arises when I would like my user to "search" for content, and arrive at www.example.com/wiki/search_string, thereby activating the wikitools response, rather than the default search response.

does anyone have any ideas how this is possible?

Would be a tremendous help.

Thank you very much,

Saul

As soon as I throw up the white flag I figure it out... figures...

For anyone looking for this solution:

use the Finder module,
Set it to find nodes,
select "text field" element,
set the finder path to the same path as the wiki path
Select "redirect immediately to search result"
Change the width of the text field to something sufficient (25 or 30) (default is 60 characters and will ruin mess up your layout)

you should be good to go

Thanks for having the issue, resolving it and putting back the answer Sza.

Worked like a charm and most probably you have just saved me at least a couple of days of frustration.

Thanks again,
Kayra.
