WOW. When might we look forward to a secure version?

Yeah, this project is still on the back burner for me, unfortunately. It's clear that there would be some good use for this in the community, but none of the projects I'm working on need it, so I have to work on this in my free time - of which there is currently none. I could see doing this on sponsorship, but I would need 2-4 weeks full time to really get this done right, so I'd need to hook up with just the right project for sponsorship to work out. I'd love to get a solid version out, it's definitely on my list of things to do when I have some time available.

Thanks for checking in!
Chris

Chris , thanks for your module.
You may be able to divide the problem into parts.
Then we can help you in your work ...

pvasili - I agree that splitting it up *might* be a possibility, but it would still need one person to set up the infrastructure and plan for that to work. I have a gut feeling like I could be much more efficient just tackling the project solo, though, at least for the first secure iteration. Thanks for the offer, though, I will keep it in mind!

Suppose secure implementation could go in different brunch or github. Anyway... I see no patches

I'd like to echo these "WOW !!" sentiments! This will be so cool when it comes out and it will save LOTS of time in those areas where Views just doesn't cut it, but because Drupal is becoming so "views-centric" you really need to use something views-like.

Subscribing... Would be great to get it done. Sometimes, there is the need to write a quick query...

Have you also seen: http://drupal.org/project/customreports

This however produces report output as csv for export only.

I really like this module. Views is to complicated, to long to parameter and not flexible enough (even for simple things). For people who know (even a little) of sql (and we are a lot), it is much faster and smarter to use this module .... to try it is to adopt it !

PPPPLLLLLEASE is anybody can take care of this great, nice and really usefull module ?

a Q-View lover !

Another echo for the "wow" comment. This looks awesome! When??

I'm on board with the WOWs too!
This is exactly what I need. It's such a pain right now if you need to display the results of a complex query.
