This is an old problem for which there is plenty of discussion and a good solution (2 patches) at the following link
IMCE integration issue (url@txtUrl/txtLnkUrl).

The patches there fix the problem when one is using FCKeditor with fckeditor.module and IMCE.

However, when one tries to use FCKeditor via WYSIWYG API with IMCE and IMCE WYSIWYG Bridge the same problem exists (I'm not the only one to report this problem in this issue queque).

However, since fckeditor.module is not used in the WYSIWYG API useage scenario the patches do not apply here.

Can anyone provide a re-work of the patches referenced above to apply to FCKeditor + IMCE + WYSIWYG + IMCE WYSIWYG Bridge?

If I could do it myself I would but I'm not a programmer and this fix has been too long in coming. . .

i formerly gave this it's own new thread (http://drupal.org/node/689872) because I didn't find this thread when i searched the forms.

here's my situation.

i am using the following:

Drupal 6.13
IMCE 6.x-1.3
WYSIWYG 6.x-2.x-dev (Nov 22, 2009)
IMCE_WYSIWYG bridge 6.x-1.x-dev (Oct 30, 2009)
FCK version 2.6.5
TinyMCE version 3.2.7

when running TinyMCE, the IMCE "browse" icon shows up in both the "insert/edit link" and "insert/edit image" dialog boxes, as you would expect.

when running FCK, the IMCE "browse server" button shows up in the dialog box for "insert/edit image", but not for "insert/edit link"

does anyone know why? any hopes of having this fixed?
