In the drupal core profiles module, the ability to mark a field as "private" or "hidden to those without permission" exists. This is pretty necessary to have when you want to collect a user's address or other personal information, but you do not want it displayed to anyone else or those without sufficient permissions.

Does this ability exist in CP somehow? I have not been able to see where you can mark a field "private" or "hidden for lesser perms".
