an error box appears on "cart/checkout" page if the page is secure with ssl. when I try with http it does not appear

I have uc_discounts_alt running with SSL and it does not generate this error.

Which browser are you experiencing this with? Does the error persist with securepages module enabled?

I've tried with chrome 3.0 and ie 7. Error appears with securepages enabled too.
