Just downloaded and installed this, all ready to go, and blam I can't enable the module because it depends on colorpicker.

Couldn't care less about having a fancy picker, it would be good to just use it if it is installed otherwise just display a text box.
Anyway you need to document this on the dependencies section on the project page, which only mentions the Fusion Charts Free package.

mr.j commentedAlright even better - now I have colorpicker installed and enabled, it does nothing and just displays textfields which is what I wanted anyway (see attached screenshot).
There is a 2nd color picker module called colorpicker widget which isn't enabled and can't be enabled because now it depends on 'cck'. Now I have cck installed and perhaps it has changed on D6, but on D5 the main cck module is called 'content' not 'cck'. So I fixed that and I can enabl the module but it doesn't work anyway.
Not wasting any more time on it as it is good enough for me now, but I'd suggest either removing the dependency on colorpicker from the D5 version or talking to the colorpicker people and work out whats wrong with it. I think by luck it is falling back to displaying text fields as they may be the default form field.

aaron1234nz commentedThe Drupal 5 version of the module is no longer supported, and the dependency is listed in the Drupal 6 version.
