[url] not working

I just applied the latest release because of the security warning on the module list. Now, one of the links on one of my pages doesn't work. With the following:

[b]Baboons[/b]
[url=http://www.princeton.edu/~baboon/]Amboseli Baboon Research Project[/url]
[url=http://www.awf.org/wildlives/61]Wild Lives — Baboons[/url]

in a post using BBCode the first [url] tag is not converted to a link, but the second is. Doesn't matter if I switch the order, it just doesn't like the Princeton link. I've tried making the BBCode filter the only one in my input format, but that doesn't make any difference.
