If the language is on l.d.o, there's no need to update the translations in CVS anymore and this is exactly the thing we wanted to avoid with having a localization server. Anyone who wants the proper translations should export the Spanish translation and dump it into their local install. Let's help support getting localize.drupal.org better integrated with downloads or installing.
