Hi,
I’ve modified v6.x-1.3 so it shows the user a more user friendly list of radio boxes with small thumbnails showing how the template looks like. (See attached screenshot)
You just have to create a png file with the same basename and the module will use it instead of the default.png from the module’s images folder.
I also added support for the vertical tabs module.
As I’m no coder and I’m new to Drupal, I just made this quick hack.
Maybe it’s useful for others or it could be merged into the dev version. I think the user should choose between select box and radio fields.
I also added a german translation (without the help).

Wolfgang Reszel commentedSorry, my version had a bug. It could not show the selected default template in the node content type settings. I fixed this.

WebNewCastle commentedThanks for posting this. I'm sorry I haven't had time with the holidays and other things to look at this yet - I will try to find time to do so soon.

WebNewCastle commentedHi Tekl,
Thank you so much for contributing the translation, as well as the several suggestions and changes. I made most of the changes and additions you contributed and a few minor changes of my own as well.
Your suggestion with the thumbnails seems to work well, and I like that it also works without the thumbnails for those who don't want to add that.
These should be reflected in the new dev version once the update script runs - I think only twice a day for dev snapshots.
Thanks again for your work on this.

Wolfgang Reszel commentedYou should also include the css file, I think.

WebNewCastle commentedGrrr. It seems I somehow didn't get that selected in CVS for the release. :-(
