I'm having a hard time grasping the concept. Tried the tutorial, but it's outdated. Lets say I'd want to make the next setup for cars with category and activeselect. Type has no parent, Brand has Type as allowed parent, and Name has Brand as allowed parent. But then again Type also needs to be the parent of Name and that's where I get stuck. I've been playing around for hours now and I think it's time to ask for some help. Maybe my setup is just wrong... All help is appreciated!

Type (container)
- Convertible (cat.)
- Off-Road (cat.)
- Sedan (cat.)

Brand (container)
- Audi (cat.)
- BMW (cat.)
- Chevrolet (cat.)

Name (container)
- Audi A4 (cat.)
- Audi A6 (cat.)
- Audi Convertible (cat.)
- BMW 3 Series (cat.)
- BMW X5 (cat.)
- ...

I'm going to rephrase my question cause I think I wasn't real clear on my problem. When I select a Type category with active select it adjusts the Brand categories like it should do as an allowed parent. But at the same time Type should also adjust the Name categories. That's where I think I should use the distant parent am I right? Is it actually possible to have one containers' category selection have an affect on multiple child containers (when using activeselect)? If not I'm ready to move on and re-think my structure...
