As I continue to fine tune my website, I considered another feature I'd like to add.
In essence, my site allows people to create a content type "My Story", then, by a combination of views and panels, the story is displayed on the site. User's can comment on other people's stories as well.
So, once someone creates their Story, they need a way to share it with their friends. I have the "addtoany" module which is nice. But I would like for users to have access to a "widget" they can put on their profile. I have a idea almost
A view is displayed in the my account area that uses the various settings to the teaser, picture, etc., and then there's a html code (basically a image link) for that person to grab and put wherever they wish. (Only downside with this is that it's not dynamic, it's simply an image).
Is there a module that allows user widgets to be created? Am I way deep in custom code country here?
