here is a google translator for Drupal modules, it's way advanced and has all kinds of features.

http://raidorf.esmartdesign.com/gtranslator.zip
unzip to localhost/gtranslator/ and read the README INSTRUCTIONS.

It's made to translate 200 to 2000 strings in a few minutes.

I found that :

30% of google translations require no editing
35% require 2 words of editing
34% require plenty of editing

All in all though it takes 80% less time to edit google translated po's than to write translations from scratch.

I do not think the google translation is very good, there are lots of mistakes.

It's ok, i have found how to make google translation with 90 percent accuracy rate:

My program orders all the phrases from the longest to the shortest, and leaves aside all the ready translated files that dont need double checking.

out of 2000 strings, it is 90 percent on the first 1000 strings, the short ones. still, it saves alot of time.

here is the advanced version that i have completed. you have to run it from localhost, it will translate all your file and order it roughly by phrase length, so that you can just use the 1st half which has high accuracy rate, and you can delete teh second half if you think that it doesnt save time to you.
