Once we get an Drupal 6.x-1.2 release out with all the recent improvements, we should merge the DRUPAL-6--1 branch back into HEAD and start porting to Drupal 7!

Should the creation of the SimpleTest suite be created before, or after the merging? From what I understood, Drupal 7 requires the modules use a test unit.

It doesn't require it, but it can't hurt. I've been working on a basic SimpleTest for the D6 version.

Perfect! I always thought that was necessary to be done for a Drupal 7 module.
The Drupal 7 port is a necessary step, after the code is stable enough to be a stable release.

This is going to be postponed until the token integration module is moved to the Token project.

Is there currently a way to have RSS feeds for apachesolr search in Drupal 7?

bump... any plans for a D7 port?

avpaderno’s picture

I was waiting to see if the search tokens were implemented in the Token module. The code has been already converted to Drupal 7, and there is already a development snapshot for Drupal 7, which I don't suggest to use (as I don't suggest to use any of the development snapshots I create).

How ready or not is the D7 work for this module? I've just discovered I might need to have an Open Search ready site.

D7 port still needed, or is there a newer module we should be looking at? I wanted to confirm before adding a patch.

Ditto. Looking at wanting to try out solr rss for a big site this week. I don't anticipate huge API differences, so should we do our own upgrade and try?

Issue summary: View changes

I suspect that there is no effort to upgrade this module to D8, but I would like to know if there is a similar module that is active and working on a D8 version.
