Hey Everyone,
I received a Podcasting Mic this morning as one of my presents, and as I browse around the web for tools to use, I am also looking at how I can integrate Podcasts into my Drupal sites. So far I have found
the .sound module which seems out of date
the file field podcast module for cck, which also seems out of date
and SWF tool kit, which seems like a good starting point.
How would you suggest getting my Podcast's onto the site and displaying them all pretty?
Thanks
Devon

Filefield Podcaster is the
Filefield Podcaster is the best method I'm aware of. It's not out of date (from checking the issue queue I don't see anything indicating that the module no longer works even though it's been a while since the last version). Here's a video podcast (which uses Filefield Podcaster no doubt haha) about how to set it up http://mustardseedmedia.com/podcast/episode19
I believe the module is mainly just for making the proper podcast feed/data. To make a player for playing back audio/video on your site, I'd go with SWF Tools for that. Here's some code/info on how I setup SWF Tools on my own site: http://www.davidnewkerk.com/book/103
