could you work with the Domain Access Ubercart module to set a default currency mode based on domain?

not sure why i called this issue locale, except that i feel prices should be handled as part of locales.

Would be a nice feature yes. But as i don`t need this myself atm and dont have much time it probably wont happen. Or someone wants to commit a patch.
