Hi there,

My name is stuart duff and i am the owner of WPscoop a drigg based social news site dedicated to wordpress topics. Recently i have been getting a lot of email and contact requests from people trying to setup or use the drigg system to build their own social news drupal based web project. One of the downsides to owning a Drigg site has been the lack of a great support network and also it's lack of development which i completely understand due to Tony's health amongst other things.

For this reason i decided to setup a community forum aimed at the Drigg set of modules http://community.driggr.com, hopefully this forum can become a hub for fellow Drigg enthusiasts like myself to gather where we can, teach others and also learn from each other how to get the most of these wonderful modules. As for the continued development of the Drigg modules we will all have to wait and see if Tony is up for maintaining them again which i for one hope he is.

The community forums i have setup are not a replacement for this issue tracker or drupals project page it's mearly a place where users of the system can ask me and hopefully others who use it successfully for help and tips.

Drigg badly needs a maintainer. Does anyone here care? Otherwise drigg is slowly dying. Folks are porting modules to 7.x and we still don't have 6.x release. It is high time we need to figure out future of drigg. or find some other module.

I am using too. And it works great. But if we are not showing this as "released" on module home page, then more user's won't use it. And if there are no more users, less chance this will get maintained.

We already do not have anybody maintaining this. 6 months down the line you won't be able to use this on 7.x
