Having DnDU enable prevent all Drag and Drop operations inside the WYSIWYG editor, for instance to move an image around and position it.

DnDU should only manage DnD events that come from outside the WYSIWIG area or that do not start AND end inside this area.

I understand could be tricky because it depends on the underlying editor but for now it render DnDU "unusable" for WYSIWIG because it change the WYSIGYG editor behavior and prevent some basic operations like positioning the uploaded picture.

While there are some issues I am aware of with DnDU intercepting other DnD related events, the one you refer to has not been an issue for myself, I am perfectly able to reposition an image inside the WYSIWYG via DnD.

Can you confirm the details of your setup so I can attempt to reproduce the issue? Browser, OS, WYSIWYG, etc.

Cheers,

On top of my head I did my test with google chrome on TinyMCE 3.2.7.

Google chrome was 2.0.172.39 even if with google that does not mean much given their constant background "I own your computer and register myself everywhere like a virus" updating strategy.

I'll try to test with other editors and navigators and we'll report the result

PS: the version 3.0.195.38 of chrome exhibited the same behavior

Hi Annakan,

I can confirm that this is an issue for all but the Firefox 3.6 method.
Looking into a solution.
