Hello all.

I have installed the Event and CCK modules. I have created a new content type with CCK: funding entry for my funding database. I want the due date for the funding to show up on the calendar.

I have managed to get it working, sort of, in that I have enabled the event side of things and it now has a place to enter Start and Finish times.

However, what I would like to do is a) have just a date for this content type (no start/finish times), b) change the title to "Due Date" or something similar, and c) move the event time etc. down below the Title area on my form.

The trick is that I will still have regular events where I will need to use the default setup.

Any ideas as to how to accomplish this?

and mention there that you would love to have a feature whereby CCK automatically integrates with the events calendar.

Keep your eye on the Event Views module (http://drupal.org/node/67060). It now can create a calendar view of regular event fields and I have plans to find a way to push cck dates into a calendar.
