jcisio commentedYes this is a must-have! Default messages help choosing the correct tokens.
Scott Reynolds commentedMajor status is reserved for when the module fails to function.
This is really only a minor issue anyways.
jcisio commentedI was setting at "major" because it needs fixed before 2.0 is out. Lack of those takes users unnecessary repeated steps and causes module unfriendly.
Will you put your own templates into the module?
Scott Reynolds commentedI agree that is a usability fail, what I want is to port my Activity Drupal 7 port over for this. In that port, you are able to test the messages against an already created node, comment, facebook style status message, .... whatever else you can think of. Its pretty neat.
jcisio commentedSo that means you have already some default messages in your D7 port and it will be here? Is the message format in D7 different from in D6?
Scott Reynolds commentedIn my 7.3 port: http://skitch.com/supermanscott/dtyur/testing-messages
You enter the id for the Activity and pass in extra arguments in needed and click test. And below it shows you the tokenized messages.
Way better then default messages and it solves the real problem.

hedac commentedI'm using 6.x... and I was expecting default templates too... or at least in documentation !

_shyD6 reached its EOL back in February 2016, and there is no active release for D6 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D6. All D6-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
Thanks!
