quicksketchEach string you enter as an administrator is available in the Translate Interface section, but you first have to switch to a different language, then view a page that contains that message (such as trying to flag/unflag a piece of content). Afterwards, the string will be flagged as needing a translation and you can find it in the Translate Interface section.

Bilmar commentedAwesome, thanks quicksketch!
I didn't realize I had to switch to the other language for the string to be picked up for translation.
As per your explanation, once switching languages I found the string in Translate Interface and was successfully able to translate the string.
This advice I'm sure saved me a lot of 'what is going on' moments with other modules in the future as I work to create a multilingual site.
Thanks again

supriyarajgopal commentedHi quicksketch,
Your resolution to the same issue in Drupal 7 is not working for me.
Any clues on how to get translations working for Flag texts in Drupal 7?

joachim commentedPlease don't reopen ancient issues, there's already #2798841: Flag configuration texts aren't translatable for this.
