Drupal 6.15

I have been running Drupal for a little over 6 mouth so I'm still pretty new to how everything works.

I have a problem, and I going to try to explain as best as I can pardon me if it's a little hard to understand.

Before I went to bed the night before my site was work fine, that morning I woke up and load 3 modules (they were so rating modules) from drupal.org. After my screen refreshed I notice that some menu items (permissions, modules, views, user, role, profile, site maintenance, site information, and some others) were missing on my administer screen. I also can't create any content. Does anyone know how to get these items to return to my administer screen? If so could you also tell me what happened to create this problem?

I experienced the same problem. After searching the forums, I found the following post:

The solution discussed there fixed the problem for me; all of my admin menu items are back now!
