Hello!

I just launched a website for a local law firm, built on Drupal. There are a few nice features, such as the home page flash movie, powered by a Views-generated XML file running MonoSlideShow.

Here's my writeup about the project: http://www.headlinercreative.com/featured-project/law-offices-schneider-...
Here's the link to the live site: http://windycitylawgroup.com/

If you have any specific questions on how this site was built, feel free to ask! Also, please let me know if you think it's worthwhile for me to write up an article for front-page promotion. It's a pretty basic website, but it does match my theme of "Drupal is great for the little guy, too!"

cheers,

the front page slideshow effect can be replaced by using jquery easy. just my 2 cents

It was done with flash for a few reasons:

1. Copy can be placed behind the flash, which is good for SEO, which is very important to them. (Not yet written) This is really the primary reason we did Flash.
2. Additional transitions are available for the flash movie than for jQuery carousel
3. Slightly better loading time, believe it or not.

Very well done site.
What are you using for the topic titles ? They seem to be graphics file.

The testing category may be removed, I think.

I'm using Cufon, which is why they're not selectable. It's easier to implement than sIFR, I find, and is more consistent, which is very important on a site where the content is changing so much.

I deleted that category! Not sure why it's showing up! I'll check the DB and try to remove it manually... Thanks for catching that!
